Today, we would like to introduce a video review by a YouTuber named “Mattew SR” about 12s runaround.

SCR PRO UPGRADE_WHEEL UPGRADE Benefit
So, after putting the SCR Pro through its paces with five packs, we took a closer look at its internal bits to see how they’re holding up. Turns out, the drive pins were really feeling the strain, mostly because the current wheels are quite hefty at around 800 grams each. To lighten the load, we decided to swap in some Losyif wheels that each weigh just 600 grams. This upgrade is set to save us nearly 200 grams per wheel, which is a big win for the overall weight! And hey, this lighter setup will definitely help to keep the transmission in good shape..

Why Test Different Wheels on MCD W5?
So, I’m not really feeling those wheels for future runs, but I’m super curious about giving them a go on the MCD W5—the transmission setup is totally different, and that’s got me intrigued. We actually chatted about this in a past video, although I haven’t gotten around to checking out the W5 videos myself. The configurations are just different enough that I think they’d handle a lot better. During my little races with this setup, I noticed that while some folks mentioned needing to flip the machine, it can actually just roll over with a gentle nudge, no crazy jumps needed. And hey, the paint does chip a bit, but that’s just part of the fun, right? I took it out like that on purpose for the thrill!.
What should I know about battery tray maintenance?
So, I just took apart the battery tray, and honestly, there’s not much to report in terms of issues. At first, I had a bit of a hiccup with the switch—it just wouldn’t return to its position on the Air Snake V12 Pro dimmer. To avoid any future problems, I decided to move the remote switch to the back for better protection. And if you’re wondering how to take it apart, a precision screwdriver makes the job super easy!.
How to Fix a Switch with Velcro?
So, I took apart the item and gave it a good clean, and guess what? It’s working like a charm now! But that’s not all—I decided to go the extra mile and order some double-sided Velcro from Aliexpress. I snagged two strips for just €1.50 each, only €3 total, which should definitely last me a while. With the switch all fixed up, I’ve now secured it in place, so it won’t budge anymore. Win-win, right?.

What’s Involved in Disassembling the DIF?
Alright, let’s dive into the task of disassembling the DIF to check out what’s going on inside. We’re starting with the front, so we can make some comparisons with the W5. When we peek at the front train spacers’ screws, it turns out that the settings are nearly maxed out. We also took a moment to check for drop reduction—only ended up with a few millimeters there. Right now, the vehicle is rolling in fully stock mode, but the chassis had a quick modification. It’s worth noting that the eight seconds isn’t quite cutting it. So, as we move ahead, we’ll focus on adjusting the chassis by reducing the drop up front and bringing those mortise adjustment screws closer together..
