SCR PRO on Curcuit
in this video, the host conducts a test of the SCR Pro on a circuit track, specifically examining its performance while operating in 12S mode. The main focus is on understanding the vehicle’s handling, durability, and mechanical aspects, as well as addressing any potential issues that may arise during the test. Viewers will gain valuable insights from the detailed experiences and observations shared in relation to high-performance buggy operation, which can assist them in their own racing and RC experiences.
Initial Preparations for Testing the SCR Pro on Circuit
The SCR Pro is set up in 12S mode for a circuit test. There is hope to successfully complete the test run without damaging the body shell. The body shell is removed to avoid damage, similar to previous tests. The vehicle will run in a bare state or “desert buggy” mode. The scale of the SCR Pro is described as monstrous and quite large.

Monitoring a 12S Tank Performance
This is a 12S tank utilizing Lip Var 7000 batteries with a discharge rate on C. It’s important to monitor the rear driveshaft and the transmission to ensure everything functions smoothly. Previously, I lost a pin from the rear driveshaft, which likely caused overheating, indicating a need for vigilance regarding high temperatures. I’m also dealing with a cracking noise after applying thread lock on the pinion, suggesting it may require red Loctite to stabilize it, although it’s unfortunate that such issues are arising.
Discussion on Original Tires Performance
The original tires are relatively affordable, priced at about €1,170 at Smithmaster, yet they provide an excellent riding experience. I believe their lifespan will be satisfactory, and their balance is impressive, which gives me some peace of mind. Even after experiencing some rough rides, I feel confident knowing I have a spare tire on hand for emergencies. However, there seems to be an issue with the equipment. While it should typically function well, it might be the switch that malfunctions after jumps.
