curcuit test Discussing the MOF Tank’s Power
The MOF is recognized as a powerful tank, which is quite impressive at just 15 kg. It receives commendations for its capabilities and performance, being characterized as a beast that can tackle anything. However, there are some concerns regarding its size, as fitting parts may be difficult, suggesting that a smaller version could be more effective. Overall, the machine seems to excel in the challenges it faces.
Adapting and Adjusting Equipment
The process of adaptation has its challenges, but I am starting to feel more at ease with it. I lent the equipment to friend for a quick test, and it performed admirably without putting excessive strain on the diabolos. However, I noticed that the transmission was overheating, so we need to be cautious about that. Consequently, I plan to install metal plates instead of the original 30° North cones I had considered.
Equipment Setup and Behavior Comparison
While searching for gear at home, I found some additional equipment that could be useful in the near future. Despite being cautious with the lipos, I am worried about the cables pressing against the switch. The weight distribution, especially with the motor positioned at the front, significantly affects the vehicle’s performance while rolling. I am currently comparing the behaviors of different setups and have observed that one configuration is more aggressive in handling.

Practical Tips
I recently received a useful tool from P that can be found at Action, making it easy to attach straps without the need for longer ones. However, there is an unusual issue with the setup, as the speaker adjusted one of the settings to 33, contrary to their expectations based on the vario cutoff. I also feel the need to evaluate the performance of the R5 and express concerns about the transmission, noting that the temperature is at 80°, which is relatively cool.
Quality Insights
The cardan moves freely in the socket, showing no significant markings even after completing only four packs, suggesting good quality. However, the rear pin has exhibited considerable wear, whereas the opposite side is brand new. This indicates that while both the cardans and sockets are quite durable, the pins undergo substantial stress within the central transmission.

Inspection and Update
The weight of the rear wheels significantly impacts performance, as they are heavy and rigid, affecting the overall setup, especially on the differential. One component has shifted, indicating that it’s time for adjustments, specifically to reinsert the pin and secure it with a clip. Despite only having completed four packs, there is a slight disappointment in performance, with the engine temperature manageable at about 75°C and the ESC around 60°C. The LiPos remain at their usual 50°C, and a review of the machine’s condition is planned after the fifth pack.
