smithmaster RC Truck Body Overview

Hey there! Let’s take a closer look at the RC truck body and its features.

The body is already trimmed and painted, but watch out for some imperfections caused by overspray.

Unfortunately, there are no manuals included, just decals, but keep an eye out for upcoming 3D renderings and manuals on the website.

When it comes to customer service, they are pretty on point – quick responses even with time zone differences.

This RC truck uses 10 body pins to secure the body, pretty standard for Fifth Scale RCs.

For some extra flair, you can opt for a light bar or a spare tire available on the Max Edition.

There are different variants like the Pro and Max Editions, coming in various colors.

Plus, there’s an aluminum roll cage under the body shell for added durability..

Alright, let’s dig into the truck’s features!

Firstly, the front is well-protected with pipe insulation that’s securely zip-tied.

As we move through the truck, you’ll notice machined aluminum parts all around like shock towers and motor mounts.

When it comes to specifics, we’ve got measurements for different parts such as the shock towers at 5 mm, lower support arms at 20 mm, upper links at 6 mm, and the drive shafts at 7 mm.

To top it off, the truck comes with cool features like a composite front bumper, oil-filled coil-over shocks, anodized aluminum components, as well as CVDS in both the front and rear..

Alright, let’s break it down.

This truck comes packed with multiple CVDS all around, features aluminum parts and an adjustable Servo saver to amp up its performance.

You’ll find the chassis support, motor mount, and battery tray all crafted from sturdy aluminum for durability.

Additionally, it includes a composite chassis brace, hefty 5mm thick shock towers, and comes equipped with coil-over oil-filled shocks for a smooth ride.

Just a heads up, both the body mounts and chassis are most likely made of aluminum, about 4mm thick..

What are the main features?

Let’s break down the cool features of this equipment!

It’s got composite side guards and mounts for where you can place the body.

There are skids at both the front and rear.

When it comes to power, you’re looking at a Max 5 ESC, an 800 KV brushless motor, and XT150 connectors.

And here’s the kicker – it’s all topped off with a top-notch 8450 Fifth Scale Servo, and you’ll even get a metal servo horn with it for free.

Plus, don’t forget the sweet bonus of the servo horn receiver!.

Discussing Fly Sky GT5 Use

Let’s talk about using the Fly Sky GT5 for lights in this section.

It’s all aimed at Fifth Scale enthusiasts like you.

You have the choice to either get a fully loaded truck or start with a roller and customize it to your liking.

There’s a mention about revamping the RCMK website to improve access to parts.

Before thinking about using a 12s setup, the plan is to first test the truck on 8s.Get involved
